Worker's Compensation

We represent employers, carriers, servicing agents, third party administrators, employee leasing companies, and professional employer organizations throughout the state in cases big and small, before the OJCC, the circuit and appellate courts.  We’ve successfully defended our clients in complex catastrophic injury, toxic exposure, course and scope, repetitive trauma and occupational disease cases, as well as cases of lesser magnitude. Our lawyers have forged unequalled reputations, all across the state, for their innate understanding of and the winning perspectives they've constructed in medically, epidemiologically, chemically and physiologically complex cases, and have been invited to lecture to various gatherings, including the Florida Trial Lawyers Association and the WCCP, on diverse topics pertinent to worker’s compensation and employer’s liability, as well as coverages and immunities.

Toxic Torts

We represent manufacturers and distributors, property owners and insurance carriers, all across the state, in toxic tort, sick building, products liability and exposure cases, involving individual as well as certified classes of plaintiffs, in the circuit and federal courts. We've successfully defended the interests of our clients in cases involving such disparate substances as bacterias, fungi, molds and mildews, viruses, lead, styrene, anthrax, the Hanta virus, Methycillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus, shigella, phosgene gas, Streptococcus B, hexane, carbon monoxide, rock wool, fiberglass, the Mycobacterium Kansasii, fumed silica, glass bubbles, flour dust, benzene, ammonia, radiation, organophosphates, cobalt, pesticides, xylene, asbestos, drywall, paints, surfactants and catalysts as well as cases in which Hepatitis A, B and C, leukemias, myelodysplasias, cancers, tuberculosis, meningitis, asthma, psittacosis, multiple chemical sensitivity and Legionella were alleged.
