Pete L. DeMahy

Has tried over 200 jury trials and has an active practice in the areas of legal and accounting malpractice as well as errors and omissions litigation and insurance coverage disputes. He has represented the Florida Association of Insurance Agents and the Professional Insurance Agents of Florida. He has been an adjunct professor of law at St. Thomas University Law School, University of Miami, and Florida International University where he has taught courses on products liability and ethics. Mr. DeMahy is a frequent speaker on issues of interest to the insurance industry, having lectured at the Assurex International and FAIA conventions. Mr. DeMahy is a member of the Defense Research Institute and Drug Law Institute, as well as the various Bar Associations. Mr. DeMahy was graduated from Florida International University and the Nova Law Center in 1977. Mr. DeMahy just ended a two year term on the Florida Supreme Court Bar Admissions Committee.
